CHOOSING A PHOTO LOCATION
When selecting locations for your photo session we consult with you and take into account the overall look and styling requirements.
We are suckers for rolling hills and fields of grass. You know the saying it's all about location location, for us it is more about natural lighting and the absence of crowds. We only require a small amount of unoccupied real estate to be able to create stunning portraits of your family and children.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO SHOOT?
We schedule all our sessions for late afternoon allowing us to take advantage of the setting sun and what will be some pretty amazing natural light.
Make sure the kids have snacked before the shoot and have extras on standby to avoid and 'Hangry' situations.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Most colours tend to work well, especially primary colours such as earthy toned blues, browns, blacks and whites. The general rule when it comes to selecting what to wear is ensuring a smart casual look that compliments everyone and is absent of any clashing stripes/patterns, distracting logos and writing (more aimed at the gents). Feel free to accessorise with scarfs, jackets and hats. Smart casual shoes are a must, no sneakers gents... make the effort amigos. In general, dress for an evening out... might as well take the family out for dinner after the shoot.

YOU CAN FIX THAT IN POST, RIGHT?
Your final images are all edited in-house by our photographers and great care is taken to ensure all images look amazing.
We use our editing process to add a little extra ambience or mood to the images, adding a little rustic flair through the use of colour tones, contrast and film grain. Whilst we do little touch ups on acne, scratches and blemishes we do not offer a reality augmentation service.
